Afoot Limited operates from its base in the Tukituki Valley near Hastings close to the Art Deco city of Napier and deep within the wine country of Hawkes Bay. Transport from any hotel, motel or backpackers in Hawkes Bay, Napier Airport or the Inter-City coach station is no problem. Most of the treks begin at the base of either the Ruahine or Kaweka Ranges which are approximately one to two hours drive from central Napier or Hastings. Trips that involve one-way trekking will include arrangements for return transport. |
